I wish I could've been here. Someone commented on this video saying how the people they were playing to were just walking away, confused, when actually they had no idea how lucky they were.I couldn't agree more. Seeing Bon Iver live was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced, and whether or not those people in that room were already fans of his music I can't even begin to imagine how special they must have felt. And this just makes me happy :)

I still can't decide whether this was completely improvised or whether they'd been perfecting it for weeks before playing, and that's what I love about it; whether or not it was pre-rehearsed, it feels so spontaneous.

If only I could go into my portfolio interviews and just talk about these guys, I'd be there all day. These videos are beautiful pieces of work in themselves.
