My dad bought a t-shirt off the internet and it arrived the other day in a lovely large brown envelope that had designs on it that looked like they had been screen printed. I just thought they were cute. It seems I can spot a screen print anywhere nowadays after living in the printing room for about three days straight in the last weeks of my final major project.

Anyway, I'd been itching to get out the old typewriter again - it's been in dormancy ever since the end of Camberwell - and then I found THESE.
They are portraits of celebrities, drawn using a typewriter (!?) The artist Keira Rathbone has obviously abandoned her pencils and charcoal and opted for a much less conventional method of mark marking, and the results are very impressive indeed. I wouldn't even know where or how to begin creating something like that! Anything I end up creating with my typewriter will just seem bland in comparison now. I would make the joke that all the reviewers have been making, a hilarious gag about her work really being worth a thousand words, chortle chortle.
But I won't. Because that's dry.
