"I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics."

A fabulous quote from Richard Feynman there. And probably completely true.
I dabbled in Quantum Mechanics briefly for a project titled: "How Things Work" earlier this year. After stumbling across the Quantum Paradox of Schrodinger's Cat I decided to base the one minute film we had to make on an explanation of the concept behind this bizarre analogy.
After weeks of just trying to understand what Quantum Mechanics actually was I just managed to get my head around the theory and produce this, my first attempt at any kind of moving image (a video that probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you understand a little about Quantum physics) :
Worringly, I really enjoyed the experience and my brief stint with physics (despite the fact I supposedly hate science) and have decided to base my Final major Project on an entirely new branch of Quantum physics, perhaps Parallel Universes and/or Time Travel? Two theories that have always fascinated me for some reason.
I just love the idea of the future or the past interfering with or changing the present, or something or someone being in two places at once. Or the idea that there is a universe for every possible combination of decisions that we make in our lives and that somehow, somewhere we are someone we've always wanted to be, or someone who we're glad we're not.
Oh, I'm such a nerd.
