A few weeks ago we were given A-Z in the font Akzidenz-Grotesk. We were then asked to choose a word: deconstruct, construct, explode, recycle, evolve etc. and create a font of our own.
I chose the word deconstruct based on the principle that I thought the letters in this font were mostly made up of unnecessary components. So I went through the entire alphabet and cut out a square in each letter, giving me an image which would reveal just enough of the letter so that it was still recognisable, but getting rid of anything that was unessential.

I also think pangrams are hilarious.
